About this pattern

Stitch our Roger Reindeer toy sewing pattern.

Although not as well known as his cousin Rudolph, Roger is a friendly reindeer with a spotty coat and that same recognisable red nose. This Christmas toy project would be a lovely gift for a child or simply something cute to sit on the sofa this Christmas. Button joint legs add character, along with sweet felt ears and antlers.

Essentials

  • Spotty fabric: brown, red
  • Felt: red, brown
  • Embroidery thread: black, cream
  • Bead, red
  • Wooden buttons, 1cm, four
  • Toy stuffing
  • Fusible webbing
  • Fabric glue

    Top sewing tip

If you’re making this reindeer as a gift for a child, you’ll need to adapt the button to remove the beaded nose and button joints.
